They pretty much don't make motherboards without onboard sound. Did you look on the back of the motherboard for audio jacks?

On yes, it has sound but I wanted a separate sound card for better quality. Dell offers the Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D PCIe as an upgrade option but I was reading the reviews and they are mixed. I will look into the ASUS Xonar. Thank you!
