Hello again guys , I posted a few threads about this problem but I didnt seem to get much answers . So i bought a LCD tv/monitor , but when i came home and connected it via VGA i noticed some horrible horizontal flickering lines across . I started doing some research and saw that alot of people say to buy a DVI to HDMI adapter and i did , but my monitor doesnt have a DVI port , so i connected the hdmi to the monitor and the adapted to the PC . When i switch to hdmi the lines are gone but it recognises it as a dual monitor . I fixed that but still even on 1920x1080 the resolution is super big. I played around with the refresh rate , resolution etc but still nothing and some of the text is clean and nice some is a bit blurry. Can anyone please help ?

Ok
I had a similar problem occur seemlessly out of nowhere when I remembered something. I turned on all those cool features like 1.dynamic contrast, 2.film mode, 3noise reduction, 4MPEG noise reduction and 5memc. I set 1 and 2 off and the last one off and 3 and 4 on auto and have seen any flickering horizontal lines since

TO moderator

Just because a post is super old doesn't make it irrelevant...

I've had problems with computers and I've found the solution from super old posts.

I'm not trying to win any awards here... just help the next person out...

Oftentimes, I find the solution to problems from browsing old threads so I don't need to start a new thread.

thanks
