How to utilise my Steelseries Apex Keyboard by changing Macro functions?

firstly, this question is a bit complicated, so I apologise if I describe it incorrectly.

Alright. A while ago I became enchanted by the look of the Steelseries Apex Keyboard and just HAD to buy it. After all it had a grand total of 88 macros (22 in 4 Layers)

Now, I'm not much of a *hardcore gamer*, as in, I don't play games professionally, I don't play games that require tonnes of strategic keypresses (DotA, LoL, StarCraft, Diablo) so to me, Macros are nearly functionless (unless anyone can enlighten on uses for them in games like Morrowind, Skyrim, Garry's Mod, Minecraft)

My question is this; I'm wondering if it is at all possible to change my macros keys (which do nothing at the moment) and use them as extra keys in games. At the moment games do not recognise them if I attempt to bind them for anything.

In games, I tend to have lots of mods installed and most need a key to be bound and frankly, the alphabet isn't long enough. An extra 88 would be nice though.

IS THIS POSSIBLE?
Please help. I'm super curious and hopeful.

Thanks in advance,
Rhovandir

EDIT: Was in wrong section, maybe this is better suited.

Think of the macro keys like this: It is one key which contains multiple keypresses. So for instance if your mod can have a combined keybind (ctrl+5), you can make the MX1 macro key on the Apex have that value (ctrl+5). So once you press MX1, it will actually press Ctrl+5. If the game does not support combined keybindings there isn't much you can do with them :/
