Actually go with this board:

its a little more then you budgeted for but it will serve you better. The chipset in this board will be more compatible with future chip designs.

who says you cant do overclocking? Its a series 9 chipset, you will be fine if you want to push the CPU. if you have no interest in overclocking then just pick an i5 without the K designation. you didnt give a lot of details in your OP so I was working on the assumption that you might want to OC.


you can only OC with Z87 and Z97 chipset you cant OC with H97 chipset

Missed that. didnt realize it was an H board. thought I picked a Z. If you have no interest in OCing then just pick an i5 without the K. if you do want to OC then just find an 1150 Z97 board.

Either way you should get the best bang for your buck with that setup.
