Greetings,
I'd like to ask a question about my Netgear CMD31T modem and Netgear N600 router. First thing I'd like to mention is that I have cable internet through a local ISP and I am paying for 50 Mbps. Since I had this installed I opted to use my own equipment instead of the leased hardware they provide. Now the issue I am having, if it's even an issue is with happens with both the router and modem hooked up.

As the above picture describes for the modem, I am getting the Blinking result. As far as I know the router is capable of up to 300 Mbps. I don't know if this is causing me any reduction of speed but it certainly bugs the heck out of me. I'd really like to discover what is causing the modem to be giving me the blinking light and not a solid light. Thanks

Blinking means some data (traffic) is flowing through the device. This is normal.

While your cable modem is capable of providing up to 150Mbps (see below) and your router up to 300Mbps (see below), you are still limited by your ISP level of service overall when accessing the Internet.

I. honestly, think what you are seeing is normal. No worries. Enjoy!
