headset wont work in front end audio jack

hi, i just got the razer kraken pro headset and for some reason it wont work in my front end audio jack. i checked for updates but everything looks fine i got a msi z97-g45 gaming motherboard and i got realtek audio can someone please help?

Make sure you have installed the Razer Kraken Pro drivers for your headset from the Razer website. If you're using Windows 7 then right click the white speaker in the bottom right and select "Playback devices" then select your headset (will be called "Speakers" or "Razer Kraken Pro" or something like that) and click the "Set Default" button. The click on the "Recording" tab and select your headset again and click "Set Default".
