I want to build a PC for video editing, Photoshop, some gaming, watching movies, MS Office and using the internet. My budget is around $1200. Since this is my first build, I just want to double check that everything is compatible and that it will be a solid system. What are your thoughts, do you have any recommendations? Thanks!

Here's what I have:

What's its primary purpose out of all those listed? Just asking, because it would make it easier for people to suggest parts changes should they choose to

I hope to game about an hour a day, or whenever I have the time.
Video editing will be something I do, but only during certain times of the year (right after summer and right after winter when I have footage).
Photoshop will be used a couple times a week.
The internet, MS Office and media player will be used everyday, and definitely the most out of the above.
However, I want a fast computer that can handle everything well.

If I feel the need to, I might. Is it worth the extra 20$ and will my system be able to support it?

yes the parts you picked can support Overclocking but honestly if you dont think you will then you can get more bang for you buck by making a few small adjustments to your list. here are my suggested changes:

Overclocking can offer a boost but its something that people dedicate a lot of time to because it can be fairly complex. Personally I have been happy with my system that is not overclocked at all. I perform pretty much all of the tasks you listed. and my system doesnt break a sweat.
