Hey guys.. Not been around for quite a while as I was mainly active when building my own rig about 3 years ago.

Mine is still going strong however a friend has recently asked me for some help buying and putting together a rig for him.. He is looking to spend around £900 on the system including windows and a run of the mill headset.

My issue is basically that i've been out of this for so long almost everything except RAM is new to me! Ive caught up as much as possible and he is also trying to have some input and we have come up with the following, just wondering if everything is compatible and if anyone has better options please feel free to advise!

I have advised him not to get an aftermarket cooler for now as he has no idea what overclocking even means, however going for a K chip because once i explained it to him he said he might consider it in the future, the rig will be for gaming.

Anyway, the parts! (I have advised him that he doesnt need the PSU he is asking for, however he doesnt seem to understand that if he only needs 500W there is no point in spending the extra!)
