Hello everyone,

My 4 years old graphics card looks like dying and I want to replace it with a new one. Especially this : http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/R9270DC2OC2GD5/

But I'm not sure it's gonna work or gonna have psu problems.

This is the psu I have ; http://www.xilence.de/en/products/power-supplies/active-series/active-series.html

It has two PCI-e cables (one is 6pin the other is 6+2 pin) but also has double +12v rails (both of them at 20 amps) which confuses me.

If you suggest a better card I'll appreciate that too. But please help me asap because that card is on discount :)

Thanks for quick response. Yes, I have some concerns about quality. Actually I was searching for a better chassis and PSU but GPU is about to die now. So I can buy a new PSU but I don't know it should be my priority or not.. System locks up, sometimes monitor says "No video input", black screen when booting, BSOD (dpc watchdog violation).. Everything was fine until a month ago. This errors show up for 1-2 days and nothing bad happens for a week then starts again :) System is old, of course I want to upgrade it but can't replace all components at once. Also this single rail/multiple rail +12v thing confuses me.

so how can I calculate that : (+12v1 = 20A) + (+12v2 = 20A) = ???

some people say r9 270 needs 28 A.. That means this double rails can't reach that amps right ? Because we can't simply add them each other.

I have no problem with wattage but this double rail +12v thing confuses me. Can you suggest a PSU under 150$?

Corsair CX750 and Cooler Master GX750 I heard too much complains about noise, I saw this : High Power hpg-750br-h12s but can't see that model on global page. also Corsair CX750M looks like an updated version of CX750 (modular) but don't know it has that noise problem or not. and I'm lost :D

Ok thanks, can you suggest a good one ? maybe I should buy a 700w+ psu for future upgrades.

550 watt psu will give u enough head room for future upgrades unless you are planning for a crossfire .......if u are planning for crossfire than get this or stay with the first choice ....http://www.amazon.com/XFX-PRO650W-Edition-Bronze-Certified/dp/B0045L5LGI/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1408478891&sr=8-4&keywords=xfx+750
