Hey Friend...no need for a dedicated sound card on modern motherboards. As noted above, there will be several audio input/output options on the back of the board itself. Since youre using USB headphones, no need to use the audio jacks. Have fun!

Only if you have 7.1 surround sound will you need a sound card, the motherboard on board audio will be good enough, all a sound card does is boost audio quality

Nah, you don't need one for headsets, the onboard audio is good enough, I was thinking more 7.1 stereos than headsets
