Why I chose the parts that I did

This may not be the absolute best, but you can adjust it accordingly. The case can be switched out however you want, but I've had good experiences with NZXT cases and it is a pretty good price. I chose that motherboard because I have been building with it for years, to include a build for myself. Great motherboard overall. I chose AMD CPU and GPU because they are the best bang for your buck. Plus, the multiple cores found on their CPU's are good for video editing. The RAM is definitely enough for any game you need and plenty fast enough. The Samsung SSD's are amazing and 120GB should be all you need for OS+programs. I chose that HDD because 2TB should be plenty for games. It is also fast enough for what you need as well as a good price. I personally don't like Seagate, but it will work well, especially for the price. I chose that Power Supply because 600W should be enough power for what you need, plus expansion. It was also a crazy good price with good ratings. The OS can be changed out as well, but I personally love Windows 8.1. Windows 7 is good as well, but 8.1 will last longer as far as support goes.

Keep in mind that the final price does NOT include rebates, discounts, etc. The actual total price will be slightly less.

I created a similar build for a friend and it was able to play every game I threw at it at full graphics @ about 60fps.
