Hello. I recently tried streaming counterstrike from my desktop. Im new to live streaming on twitch and i am having trouble getting good frames and running the game smooth while streaming. When im not streaming i get 230-280 fps in the game. When im streaming i get only 30-50 fps and the game is almost unplayable because it is so laggy and choppy. I tried changing all my settings in csgo like me resolution and other graphic settings to very low and it barely improved the stream or gameplay or frames. Im interested as to what i may need to do to stream better. Do i need better hardware? I have 8g of ram and i have a nvidea gforce 750ti and my cpu is a Intel Core i5-4670K Processor. Thanks for reading and please respond if u can help.

Try a speedtest and let me know the results.

Streaming will tear your computer apart no matter what. Most streamers have i7s and gtx 780s or r9 290s.

Turn down the settings ingame, and lower the quality of the stream if you can.

You have a system that is good for gaming, but not designed for streaming.

i tried doing that but it still was very laggy and hard to play and the stream was still very crappy. so do you think that my hardware may be the problem? maybe its not strong enough?

Well that's not bad it should be fast enough to stream. are you using wireless or do you have an Ethernet cord plugged in?
