I have a problem with the new system build...

ASUS Z97 Deluxe Motherboard Nvidia Quadro 5000 graphic card recognition problem, I have to use the HDMI to boot and install.

Motherboard: ASUS Z97 Deluxe
CPU: Intel i7 4790K
PowerSupply: Corsair RM850 Gold
VideoCard: Navidia Quadro 5000
Hard Drive: Samsung 840 PRO SSD 500Gb
Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 2x4Gb

I have tried everything for this board to recognise my graphic card and it just won't do it, I installed Windows 7 64bit and Windows 8.1.

I tried every slot and the Nvidia driver won't install the board just won't work with this card, the card is good tested and works.

Has anyone any ideas?

Solution
You may have already been this route, but if not:

- with power off, remove GPU
- power up (with monitor plugged into mobo I/O panel port) and go to Device Manager and click the arrow next to Display adapters. If integrated graphics adapter shows up, right click and disable (you may need to uninstall this, but disable for now) and uninstall any other adapter that shows up. Shutdown.
- install GPU, connect 6pin aux power connector, connect monitor to GPU, and boot to BIOS (hit "DEL" while PC is posting). Select the Advanced menu and System Agent Configuration. Next select Graphics Configuration and for Primary Display select PCIE. Then hit Exit, then Save & Reset.

At that point it should go to OS boot. If it gets this far, when...
