I have a PC that will not boot or Post.
The CPU gets warm the GPU gets warm. Pretty much everything that normally gets warm.
Power light turns on. PSU fan turns on.
I have tried taking out the CMOS battery and turning it on. Nothing.
I used a different PSU. Nothing.
I tried taking all my PCI and PCIe cards. Nothing.
It will turn on for half a second then turn off. Then it will turn back on for 30 seconds then turn off. It does this over and over. Every method I tried.
Could it be the BIOS?
I exit from the BIOS and accidentally unplugged it. Could that be something that did something to the BIOS?
This is my only gaming PC. I would be devastated if it is junk now since I put a /k///////////////////lot of my money in it.

Solution
If your BIOS was damaged, and that seems to be the case from what you have told me, then there is little you can do yourself. when a BIOS is interrupted like that an get corrupted there is no home solution for it. a bootable disc wont work because in order to boot to that disc, your BIOS has to tell the computer to Boot to it. Without a working Bios you are stuck and you can re-flash it because ironically you need to boot to you BIOS in order to tell it to flash the BIOS. I wish I had a different solution for you but calling the Manufacturer is really your only option. unless you want to buy a $50 motherboard and move everything over. That way you can at least stay up an running while you wait for your Motherboard manufacturer to send...

was it working before your BIOS debacle? If so then I think that would certainly be the culprit. If you shut the computer off while the BIOS is performing an operation, like updating then killing the power usually results in disaster. sadly if that is the case then the only solution is a new board or sending the board to the Manufacturer to have them reset it.

I have a stock PC which I made more into gaming PC. Doesn't the company have some kind of bootable bios update software? Would that work? Is there some custom BIOS that could be installed?

And it did work before.

Alright. Thank you. I looked at some motherboards. The one that broke is old and probably done with warranty anyway and had some problems already (Not booting in the right order, If CLR_CMOS switch is is ANY position, it will not turn on unless fully removed...)
I plan on getting a Intel DP45SG Extreme Series P45 Motherboard.. Going cheap(ish) (Its gonna break my bank. I dont have much money)
But again. Thank you.

It beeps if I remove all the RAM............... Could that be anything?
