Need help choosing the best case for gaming and it needs to accommodate a NZXT Kraken X60.
I have a short list:
Cooler Master HAF X - would need modifying to fit Kraken
Cooler Master Storm Trooper/Stryker - both compatible
Thermaltake Core 71 - compatible I think
Thermaltake Urban T81 - compatible
Thermaltake Chaser A71 LCS full tower - unsure

Any other suggestions for cases? Or should I choose a different water cooling system?

Budget is £150 for case and £150 for water cooling. This is a pc build for my brother who would like water cooling system since he will overclock his CPU and GPU.

Solution
If he had two top-tier GPUs like 780ti's or 290x's. OR if he had a custom water loop. Those are my ONLY two reasons to recommend a full tower.

Nothing you can add to a computer really can't fit in a good mid-tower case. I am running an SLI and overclocked (heavily) setup in my Corsair 300r.

Oh okay that's interesting. Noctua air coolers are awesome, I have one for my build. In what scenario would you only recommend a full tower case. I would have thought buying a bigger case would allow you space for extra additions of components over the years.

I'm running two R9 290x in my HAF X but with Noctua NH-D15. I bought it to build a custom water loop but still haven't done it lol. My Noctua is sufficient :)

If only components were people, they would feel claustrophobic in your case haha.
But that's sweet, I'm waiting for that too and the damn Nvidia 800 series.
