I have decided that I will buy an Asus mobo for an i5 4690K, I'm going to get a Corsair H110 cooler and 16Gb of Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1866Mhz CL9. I already have a Samsung 840 EVO 500Gb SSD, a Corsair Carbide 500R Case, 750W PSU and an R9 290 Radeon GPU. I just need to decide which Asus mobo to get, a Z97-K, Z97-A or a Z97 ROG Ranger? I may get another R9 290 in the future but not for some time, my main goal is to get a good stable overclock on the 4690K, is the extra money for the Ranger worth it?

Depends on your budget, the Hero is my favorite, have both the Z87 and Z97 and think it's well worth it, the Z97 Pro is also good and a little lower costwise, the Sabertooth does well and the Z97-A is also a good OCing mobo
