So I recently got COD Ghosts on PC and tried to move over to keyboard but noticed I was rubbish. I tried to go private match and it wont let me add more than 1 bot to verse. I looked this up and discovered it is because Ghosts requires 800MHz from the processor or something and on my pc's processor speed page mine only gives out 801MHz.

Is there anyway to increase how much mine gives out or any way to designate all 800 to ghosts?
If not... can anyone specify a good CPU to upgrade to without me blowing a load of cash?

Processor: i5 4570 3.2GHz.
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI hero
GPU: Geforce GTX760 2gb
RAM: 16GB DDR3

More about : slight issue cpu game

Sorry but it is NOT your processor. Promise. That should play games just fine.

Ah ok. any idea what it is? I was talking to activision support and they couldn't solve it and the only thing on the forums for any solutions was someone saying the game requires 800MHz?

I would try checking that your GPU is clocking into high performance mode.

Download MSI Afterburner. Open it up and go to the settings. Go to monitoring. Select core clock and temperature. 3rd to the bottom check says "Show in On-Screen Display". Select it. Play game for a while online if you have too. Then take a screen shot either by pressing F12 or hitting Print Screen on your keyboard and upload it here.

Bad news is its working right. could be in game issue. check that the game is fully updated and then contact steam about your issue (if you have the game off of steam that is)

Just so you know, 800 MHz is your CPU idle speed. It does that to save power. Once you put load on it, should ramp upto 3.2 GHz or whatever your turbo speed is.

Ah right ok thanks for that. My turbo boost is 3.6GHz. Activision support are looking into it now :)  They wont say it is my computer performance because I can run ghosts squads perfectly fine and thats 11 bots.
