Hi everyone,

Last year I rebuilt my computer -- went with the Asrock Z77 Extreme4 due to its rating here on Toms, threw in a i7-3770K, 32 GB PC3 1600, Gigabyte Radeon 7970 GHz edition, a 240GB Samsung 840 Pro and two 1TB HDD drives (a Samsung and a Hitachi). Edited to add: running Windows 8.1 U1.

I moved on July 31 and I moved my computer myself, as I didn't trust anyone else to it. After the move the computer would power up and operate, but games would not activate my 7970 -- it would run off the Intel graphics. Not happy with this, I opened my case, saw a ton of dust, used duster and re-seated my gfx card.

When I went to power back up, I got the A2 error on Dr Debug. I read up on it and re-seated my SATA connections off the Intel controller, instead of the Asrock controller. This resolved the A2 error to the point Dr Debug went black, but a new error popped up -- no video signal from mobo or gfx card using HDMI or VGA (mobo only). Edited to add: in addition, the computer would power itself off and on throughout the day, even if I had last turned it off, and when I turned it off with the power button, I would not have to wait several seconds, it would just turn off.

As of today, I've reseated all connections, sprayed duster over everything, and I'm back to my A2 error. I am open to any suggestions or thoughts. Help!

Edit: reset CMOS several times using button on mobo.

What did you spray in your computer?? That may have caused it. The first time you turned your computer on, you said it ran but with Intel Graphics. After that you reseated your gpu then stated you used "duster". Then that error message would pop up. So, my last suggestion would be that you may have damaged something while you moved.

Now for solutions, clean out you PC. Make sure your connections are seated well. Especially your EATX cables. Do a bit of tiddying up before you start it up again. IF all else fails, back up your computer and do a fresh install. I am unsure what Dr.Debug is and if you are basing this off a peice of software, and doesnt give you BSOD or anything like that then I wouldn't even attempt to do anything with your...

Your Storage devices probably wont boot. They are probably dead or no functioning correctly. Which Storage device is your OS on?

I did read that since you are using an ISO it can cause problems with booting. The SSD could be the cuplrit though. SInce you are trying to boot with it. If your SSD is dead, that could be the case if it is giving you that error.
