I bought an elitegroup KBNI-I/5200 motherboard and I cannot get anything to display through either vga nor hdmi.

This is my second board. I returned the first due to the same issue, so I assumed that I must be doing something wrong.

I hooked up everything I assume is necessary to properly boot. I gave it memory, a hdd and a keyboard. My only concern is that I am using an old power supply although the board is not supposed to use a great amount of energy.

Please help me get this machine running.

The psu is L&C Tech Inc. 460 watt. Kingston 4gb 1333 memory.

Dynex usb keyboard and a Western Digital Hdd. I've tried several tvs and monitors to see if it was a compliance issue, all with the same results.

Do you have a video card? If not, make sure your connections inside your computer are seated propely. Check the CPU fan, PSU fan, and everything else. If it all runs but your video shows no output whatsoever, then contact customer support. Has your computer worked before this?

Cpu fan runs properly as well as the psu. Motherboard is an apu so the graphics are built in. no other connections have been touched besides connecting the case's speaker and power button.

The first motherboard had the exact same issue, so I returned it to Amazon for another one. Since this one is doing the same, I thought that it might have been something I was doing wrong.

Its gotta be the motherboard then. You tried HDMI and VGA? I recall you did but either way, try it again. The motherboard itself doesnt seem to be the culprit but your VGA or HDMI output connectors may be faulty. Although, double check your monitor connections and make sure it has power from a power socket. :)  May seem naive but it is hard to see that is could be the motherboard.

The motherboard ports may be at fault. It proabaly isnt something obvious, I hope. If it were in person it would be a lot easier LOL. Anyways, I will look into the motherboard a little more tonight and will get back to you in a few :)

EDIT: I saw on the motherboard that there are two VGA sockets. One a Cyan color and another dark blue. Did you try those two?
