I heard the corsair vengeance k70 was good for world of warcraft and keybindings so I want to get it, in pictures ive seen the keys light up blue. Apparently there are different versions of it? Ex: Cherry MX Blue
Cherry MX Red
Cherry MX Brown.
Which do I get and whats the difference between them?

Are you sure you are not talking about K90 or K95? They have extra buttons for key binds, where the K70 does not (trust me, I got a K70 right in front of me).

MX red are linear switches. They are more quiet and don't make that click.

MX brown are easy to push in at the beginning and a bit harder when you really press it down. It makes a click.

MX blue is between red and brown.

I have K70 with MX Red. Though I am not playing any MMOs or binding keys or anything.

If you really want to do WoW stuff then get the K95 - you can bind all your fancy stuff.

As switches go, look at it like this:

Red - people say they are for gaming, no feedback if you press, silent
Brown - people say they are for typing, good feedback when you press, loud
Blue - in the middle

But don't listen to people. Even though I type a lot and I love the Brown switches for gaming and everything, they are a bit too loud for me. Red switches took some time to get used to, but they are more silent. Gotta make sacrifices. ( Also, with the brown switches - my girlfriend would have went crazy)

Wrong, brown has tactile feedback with no audible noise, what you are describing is MX Blues, maybe you just got them mixed up.

Maybe. I just know when I was trying brown and red, that the brown had a tactile feel but it was more noisy. Did not try the blue though. Taught it blue was in the middle. Thank you for pointing it out.
