Hi all, I've been considering building a new PC (My laptop is running 2 gtx 750m sli, and its just not cutting it anymore 0_0). I wanted my new build to either have a GTX 780 ti or a R9 290x at first i decided I would rather have the performance, but then I realized it would be cheaper to get a Crossfire rig so it turns out that if I do run Crossfire it would still be under my budget; my question is if I buy the 2 R9-290xs will it run Metro at 1440p with ultra settings at >50 fps?

Solution
definatly at 1440p. if you want to add more to you budget water cool them or add some more monitors/perphials. r9 290x's can run 4k 30fps-50fps, 2 probably 60-100fps.

they way its "meant" to be played doesn't mean much nor am i taking into account physX when i buy my gpu im looking for solid performance for price. I know AMD has better performance/price ratio but if they had a card that could beat the 780 ti it would most likey be cheaper.

acctually the corsair h75 is only about $50-60 and I would be willing to get 2 of them if it means a noticable difference and an obvious longer life span. by the way i was going to go with a sapphire tri-x or vapor-x instead of the reference amd cooler because i heard they run too hot. so i dont know if ill be needing the g10 with a vapor-x cooler.

oh you miss understood i meant this water cooling

I really didnt want to pay for a custom loop but the subject keeps coming into mind so when i heard about the g10 i was so happy and i decided i would do some thing like this http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Ricky_Math/saved/3KxRsY
but if I end up doing a custom loop and spend that much money i might aswell go and buy the NV card :\

I havent really built long enough to feel comfortable using water cooling like that but the closed loop coolers are fine so much easier then installing a custom loop and finding all the parts to do it with

replied to the wrong comment. but thank you for understanding in the future i really would like to invest in a custom loop which is why i picked that case. there is enough room for a push/pull config on my rads with out messing with my ram or mobo in general.

I seriously considered that board.... but that case has a giant window and the camo and gold will stick out like a sore thumb with every thing else red/black part of the reason i went with the msi board and not asus sabertooth i would go with ROG but price is really something that im conerned with

also im curious why the samsung and not adata? im not really edjucated with the subject i just know ssd is faster
