Motherboard that Doesn't Exist?

Hi, everybody, I am posting on behalf of a friend who recently got a new gaming PC. He didn't want to research and build it himself, so he had more technologically intelligent friends design and build it for him. He's been playing on it fine for several months, but he's been experiencing crashes sometimes while downloading things, and he says that his research has shown it was a problem with his Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics on his motherboard, despite him having a GTX 660 as his main GPU. So he sent me his parts list and I looked up his motherboard, which is listed as a Gigabyte H87DS Intel 4th Generation motherboard, and - here's the weird part - no results came up in Google. Since he doesn't want to go through the mess that is unplugging and opening up his computer at the time of writing this, I don't know for sure what is inside his computer, but can anybody shed some light on this?

That may be the wrong name for the motherboard. Now for the main question, how does it crash? Does it give him BSOD, because I think I know what that may be from. The recent 8.1 update 2 release a update where is causes BSOD so Microsoft told us consumers to uninstall it, I did but didn thave any issues. On to the point, what do you mean by "crashes somtimes while downloading things"?

GA-z87-d3h by chance? Where is it listed on? Pcpartpicker, or a list he typed up? If it's a list he typed up, he probably gave you the wrong model number.

By the way, I would diagnose the PC yourself if you know what your doing, or post the detailed problem here rather than relying on his "research".

Edit: Just thought of this. Tell him to download and run Speccy or CPU-Z as either one should list the motherboard.

I'm not entirely sure as I haven't ever seen this happen for myself, but he says that downloading anything while doing something else (like playing a game or skyping) will cause his computer to freeze. Also, he is running Windows 7.

Diagnosing and troubleshooting through multiple levels of people, none of which actually built it. This will be tough.

Parts list (see Belarc Advisor and Speccy for actual stuff....edit out any software keys if you post the results here).
Actual error messages if any when it crashes.
Temps, and what he is doing at the time of the crash.

Stuff like that.

Error Message: All he's said so far is it mentions his Intel HD graphics processor. I'll try to get a picture of the error message from him as soon as I can.

What he was doing: As I said in my last post, trying to download something while, as he says, "doing anything else," gaming and skyping the most frequent examples.

Sorry that this isn't him speaking, but only I have an account here and care enough to post. I also know a lot more about computers than him anyway.
