I did everything every video on you tube has done, but i dont seem to have any luck. I have an h100i so my cooling system isn't the problem i honestly think I was wondering should I have the CPU lid on or go with direct die contact?

Honestly, my opinion on delidding is to only do it when you plan on building a custom loop.

As far as I've heard delidding is somewhat of a lottery. It's not unheard of for temperatures to get worse after delidding. Your temps might get better or worse. Since you've already delidded it, just keep it the way it is.

Probably too much thermal paste or low thermal paste quality? also could be a tightness issue on the cooler but IDK, it also takes a few days usually for the paste to work better for me anyways.

Well I used Artic Silver 5 and i know you have to wait about 200 hours for the paste to absorb into the metal but i have a friend you suggested it and got 15C off the charts them moment he turned his pc on. My processor also runs @4.5ghz @1.211 volts with a stress run from OCCT. One other thing i did was reapply AS5 3 times now due to one of my cores running hotter than the rest by about 10C. I honestly think i got a faulty CPU because i dont think its really normal to run this hot at these low of volts. Any suggestions on what to do?

My Specs:
I7 3770k @4.5ghz
Asus P8Z77LK-V
Corsair H100i
Crucial Ballistics DDR3 @1600mhz
Samsung EVO 250gb SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1TB @7200 rpm
Windows 8.1
Corsair HX850 gold

Is the waterblock making square contact with the cpu die? Most people add better thermal interface material and reattach the heat spreader.
