I have dvd fab 9 but the converted product says it is not playable? My main question really is can I some how burn a 720p.BluRay.x264.mp4 onto a standard dvd? I have tried everything with dvd fab the convert blu ray to dvd option leaves the .VOB viles in five .99gb segments and doesn't have the other necessary files to make it able to burn to dvd. I think from what I have read is something along the lines of it is supposed to have certain ini files or something along those lines. I am a noob so any help would be much appreciated, thanks for your Patience.

Solution
No only a Blu-ray player as it is still a HD format.
I use ConvertxtoDVD
http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/
this will down scale HD files 720p/1080p to a standed DVD single or dual layered at 480p and will play in a standard DVD player.
You can add menus chapters and it also converts audio to Dolby Digital from DTS.

Great but can that AVCHD dvd play on a standard dvd player aswell? I should have been more clear in my posting, what I want is to be able to burn that 720p.BluRay.x264.mp4 to a regular dvd for playback on a standard dvd player.

Just purchased convertxtodvd, worked like a charm, so simple too, much easier than dvdfab, dvdfab converted it just to vob files but left out bup and ifo files but this automatically added them. And I was told it was impossible to convert that file to play on a standard dvd player by more than a few people, thanks again!
