How are AMD Drivers these days?

Hello! I'm planning a new build and trying to consider all options. I've always been a HUGE fan of AMD CPU's AND GPU's. 2 years ago I upgraded my GPU from 2 AMD 5770 in crossfire mode to an Nvidia 660ti. The ONLY reason jumped to nvidia was due to the experience that I had with the driver issues with my 5770's. I ran a tri monitor setup and always had issues with one monitor flickering and losing signal with the display port. I then had issues with the drivers crashing constantly. Just an overall headache. I've had NO issues with my 660ti and have loved my Nvidia experience. With this new build I'm also upgrading my FX8150 to a i7-4820K or Intel Core i7-4790K.

Every since I started building my own gaming rigs 10+ years ago I've ALWAYS went with AMD. Never built an Intel rig for myself. So yeah...i do feel that i must retain SOME loyalty to AMD..LOL.

So whats the good, the bad, the ugly with the new AMD GPUs?

Chances are you will get opinions all over the place (and even some fanboys from both sides)
My experience with AMD drivers is been just fine.
There have been a lot of improvements in stability and crossfire in the last year or so
I can't test the drivers newer than 13.12 because they (annoyingly prematurely) dropped Vista support which is my only gripe right now

used 2 monitor in home system (now just one, never got chance to try 3), using lappy with amd apu and dual monitor at work..
for now I didn't find any crash/error with .. (14.4)

but yeah earlier beta driver (forgot the version) seems hate my home setup...
but in other thought it maybe not the driver fault since later the card dies,
it could be the card (MSI replaced the card for me)

the good news they are a bit cheaper and they have mantel.drivers have improved even in linux although there are a few drawbacks in that section.
the bad they have always consumed more power and in high end models you can expect 95c on refrence models.
the ugly its red lol.

Had very little use of 14.4, occasionally made my OS BSOD on Youtube movies, searched the web and it was a general problem, but have been using 14.6 RC2 and 14.7 RC3 with absolutely no problems at all.
