Hello guys, my name is Luc. I have a quick question for you guys.

What is exactly the diffrence between the:

Asus GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB DirectCU II Video Card ($847.51)

http://amzn.to/1yZdLh2

and the

EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti GDDR5 Graphics Card ($855.82)

http://amzn.to/1mkCPcL

And which one would be better for gaming and overal performance?

Thanks!

Solution
There is no big difference between those two, since they are both 780 Tis.
Biggest difference between them is the cooling solution they used.
ASUS uses their DirectCUII cooler, which is pretty effective,I'm not gonna lie.
EVGA,on this card, uses the basic, reference cooler, which pretty much sucks.NEVER choose cards with the reference cooler. That's a pro tip.

This one has a better cooler than the EVGA 780 Ti you mentioned.
Overall, both cards are nearly the same.I would go for the EVGA I suggested, since it has a great cooler. Some people have problems with their ASUS cards and they're saying that they...

All the best. ;)

How come the one you suggested is like 20 bucks cheaper then the one without cooler, surely one with a better cooling system should be more expensive?

No,no.The one you mentioned has a cooler,it's just a reference one,which sucks.
The one I mentioned has great cooling.I would go for that one. ;)
What PSU do you have?

Yeah I went with the link you sent, it's like 20 bucks cheaper, which is odd becuase you sent the one with the good cooling. I have a pretty heavy processor: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor

I had triple fan 780 lightning and out of the box was overclocked and was about as fast as a reference 780ti. But even under normal settings was louder than my 780ti reference and much noisier when I O/C it by 15% more.
I replaced it with a reference MSI 780Ti and it is much superior in terms of noise and also managed to O/C by 15% without pretty much any noise or temperature increase.

Not sure why but the reference card seems to be the better choice for me. I think the AMD reference coolers give reference a bad name. The reference 780Ti's all got brilliant reviews, so if the price is right, then don't hesitate to go for it. If they are the same price I would still be careful which brand I buy as not all fans are the same and 2 fans can fail in 2 places and might even be noisier than a reference board. In general however the custom coolers are said to be better at keeping the card cool.

Go get EVGA GTX 780TI SC /W ACX. Im using GTX 780TI SC from evga with reference cooler but for now, im satisfied even im using reference one. Max temp is about 80degC, what is not bad against 290x.
My top 3 suggestions:
1. EVGA GTX 780 TI SC ACX
2. GIGABYTE GTX 780 TI GHZ ED. with WINDFORCE
3. If you are rich cun* go with the most nice looking and the sexiest GPU ever made ASUS GTX 780 TI MATRIX PLATINUM.

I'm planning to get this one: Corsair CX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Don't get that one.It uses cheap capacitors and it could damage your internals if it works under heavy load.
XFX Core 650W is an excellent choice for a PSU.That one won't damage your components. ;)
