hey guys.. i just wanted to ask what is going on.. im using 2 monitors to look at the voltages to my GTX 780ti.

this is from CPUID HWmonitor: http://prntscr.com/4ely6y

and this is from ASUS GPU Tweak: http://prntscr.com/4elycn

as you can see.. the max voltage that the GPU hits on the CPUID HWmonitor says that the highest it reaches is 0.987 volts. The GPU tweak says that it hits 1.187volts.

These are 2 VERY different readings. which one is right?? do i need to somehow up the voltage to PCI-E in the motherboard BIOS?

Please help me out. thanks

PC specs are:

motherboard: asus Z97-A
CPU: I7-4770 (non k)
RAM: 16gb 1600MHz.
PSU: cheftek 850W bronze 80+
GPU: asus directCU 2 GTX 780 ti OC edtion.

I would go with the GPUTweak for one. And two, if your card is running fine, don't obsess over the voltage of it, let it do it's thing before you go mucking around in the BIOS trying to do stuff.

Also, is this while the card is idle or after gaming for a while. If it's idle, try gaming and see what they say the voltage is.

these voltages are after playing on battlefield 4 for a while. its also strange that if i raise the voltage on gpu tweak.. it stays at the same voltages.. and it will not go down either.. just stuck on the same voltages when i game no matter what voltage input i type in
