Hey guys im buying a new budget gaming pc and here are the components
FX-8320
ZOTAC GTX 760
8GB RAM
SEASONIC 500W PSU
Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 Motherboard
1TB HDD
HYPER EVO 212 COOLER
How do you think the performance will be in games like bf4 assassins creed unity etc on 720p(high settings)?

Solution
The build looks fine but I would consider getting a batter power supply. Maybe a 700 watt since you're using an AMD 8 core. I would reconmend at least 650 watt. Just incase that extra power draw is needed i.e when over clocking. The performance should be really decent with the 760 at 720p ultra settings. You probably will get high settings and a good performance at 1080p depending on resolution.

Firstly I would pick this motherboard Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 because it's newer and better, BEST motherboard for AMD FX series CPU for the price

Secondly I agree with CryoWolf that you need better PSU 650W minimum 750W optimal... Try to get xfx/seasonic/rosewill PSU bronze/silver/gold certified, my reccomendations...

He doesn't need i5 if he will be playing those 2 games because for example i5 4690k (best i5 for gaming) vs fx 8320 have almost the same fps on bf4 and 8320 is a lot cheaper, same goes for motherboard... (also 8320 is better multithreaded for his other needs he will be doing on PC)

If he's planning to play other games than i5 would be better
