Hell all, my name is Luc.
I'm currently builing my first own pc, and I have no idea what type of PSU to pick, I don't know what voltage or what type. I don't want it to be so expensive but I would like it to be modular and perhaps also 80+ certified.

Any reccomendations welcome.

Thanks!

Well, I'm currently already slightly above budget but if there are any good PSU's out there under $50 would be great!
Ofcourse I don't want my PC to get ruined so if there aren't any good one's out there under $50 just tell me. Just give me a GOOD PSU which isn't too expensive!

Can you tell me do you plan to overclock your CPU and if yes on how many GHz so I can properly calculate PSU wattage that you will need..

This PSU is good http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx600 for $54.99 but if you plan to overclock it I would suggest you to get 650W minimum...

Would recommend Seasonic/XFX/Rosewill 650W they are best quality PSUs then comes corsairs by my opinion...
XFX P1-650S-NLB9 model for example is really good, if you find it under a good price don't hesitate to buy it, and ofcourse if you don't mind no modular...

That EVGA is op and it's semi-modular... not bad :)  would go for that one if on budget for sure :D
If you can get 10$ more and buy Rosewills that would be even better because it is Gold certified so you'll save some money on electricity bill as well :)
