When I first turn on my computer it runs super slow, after restarting it then it works fine at proper speed. It also freezes if I let my computer go into standby mode so I have to reset it, after resetting it it loads up to after the screen showing windows 8 is loading then goes grey and wont load any further till I restart it once more then its fine...

I cant figure out what's wrong, I was thinking my hard drive or possibly something on my computer so I ran malwarebytes and also my anti virus and nothing come up. Also not sure if its an error in one of my computers files.

My hard drive is a 'Hitachi HDS721010CLA630'. I have my harddrive connected to a 6g sata cable and thought this might be it as I don't know if it can work properly with that.

What can I do to find out if its my hard drive? Or what can I do to fix it. Please help me.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

It is nothing to do with the transfer rate of the cable as it can only go as high as the device that it is being used bye - have you tried a fresh install of the operating system?

No I haven't tried that, and its good to know the cable has nothing to do with it, thats my favourite cable in my comp haha.
