Well I know it is a common problem but there is a problem that I can not solve so please help...
C drive had 5 to 6 gb free and I downloaded a file from MEGA ( a 4 GB file ) and it only downloaded 176 mb ( corrupt file ) of the file but fill the 4 GB of the C drive and now I only have 1 GB free in my drive I dont know how to free the space I had...
I am not new to PC or anything... so I have used Ccleaner, Went to "localappdata" folder to find the data clear the recent and temp files my self....
The thing is when I open C drive and select all and hit properties it shows 27 Gb is in use but if I right click on the drive and hit properties it shows that 33 GB is in use...( C drive 34 GB )...
In short I have no idea what to do.....!
Thankx In Advance...

Try right clicking the drive and running the windows clean up utility. Also go to the advanced clean up settings and delete ALL restore points except the most recent. This should free up a few GB for you. Also uninstall any unneccesary programs if you have them.

Hello... are you using a large Page file System? Have you checked you Restore settings to reduce the amount of space reserved for them? and/or delete old restore files? Do you have " show hidden files" turned on under Control panel-Folder options-View, so you can see and delete old temp files?

I do have another hard drive...A 4 TB drive (Connected to the PC all the time) and a TB drive...
The problem is not that I want to store data and I need space..The problem is I want to download some data from MEGA and It wont let me choose the location....

When you click the download you should be prompted to save, save as, run or cancel from what ever browser you are using. Pick the save as option and change your default download directory. Then every time you download it will go to one of your bigger drives.

Hello... You never knew about "Save AS"? Well Kewl... Glad you asked a question " There is Never a Stupid Question... B )
Also always chose "CUSTOM" INSTALL too to get a option to store/load a Program on your 4 TB.
a Proper Question too get to here would have been " WHY Can't I download/Save/or Install Files on my Spare Hardrive"
