how to activate win7 on a win 8 laptop

Um.. if you already activated on different computers it's not legal. The second part of my question was "AND HAS NOT BEEN USED YET" which is pretty important.
One code per system. It's probably not activating because it was used already.
It would be like selling a car to 3 people, collecting the money from all of them and two of them don't actually get the car. You can say the car is legal to own since it was yours and not stolen, but once you try to sell to more than one person, that's fraud.
Nope i've always been able to use it multiple times.
And i even loaded it on another laptop just to see if it would activate and it did again with no dramas
So i'm thinking it must be something in the win 8 laptop that wont allow it to activate.
Oh well i wasn't that impressed with win 8 but i might just have to bite the bullet and buy a new copy and reinstall it.
