Just wondering what a good power supply would be to crossfire these two. The 280 is NOT the 280x. Thanks in advance guys!

Depending on the rest of the specs, you'll want atleast a good 750w unit.

Here is my question though, the EVGA has 3 6+2 PCI connectors. My 7950 requires two 6 pin, and the 280 requires one 6 and one 6+8. So wouldn't I need 4 connectors total? and that PSU wouldn't work then for my two video cards, right?

Awesome! few other questions I have is are there any known issues I should know about with crossfire? extra graphic glitches? problems with 2 video card drivers? and lastly, when i'm just idling in windows is my pc going to use a lot more watts because there are two video cards in it? or will it only make a big difference on power consumption with the 2 cards instead of 1 when im playing video games?
