Asus Z97i plus ?

Howdy :)

I just got my Asus Z97i-plus itx and my lovely devils canyon i5-4690k and i have absolutly no idea what to do next.

They told me i would have to update the bios using the flash drive and so i got a usb drive. Do any of you folks know how to do the usb flash without the cpu? the features are listed on site but no direct method :|

Unless I am mistaken you have a CPU. And the motherboard is the most recent chipset release, so it should boot right up.

Not all motherboards support CPU-less BIOS updates.

It will still likely boot just won't recognize the clock speeds and such. Should let you flash the BIOS. If not you will have to find someone with an older processor or send it back to ASUS for flashing (Turn around is quite fast in North America if that is where you are)
