My acer aspire one netbook keeps messing up on setup I need help.

My computer when you start it up it goes through the acer screen and goes to set up is starting services then a box will pop up saying "windows could not complete installation. To install windows on this computer, restart the installation." I have done this many times and it does the same thing.

I'll suggest running SeaTools for DOS see what it reports as to the health of your hard drive. You can run it from a USB device, instructions for use are lower in the page

I can't get the sign in screen much less then the desktop so I can't do that

SeaTools for DOS does not require an OS, sign-on screen or desktop, it's all built in. It is pretty much a given that those will not be available on a faulty HDD which is why, once the disk or USB device is set-up, it is completely "stand alone". Give it a shot, it may just surprise you
