Is SDD Better than HDD

You need to define "better" ... An SSD will read and write faster than a HDD. It will use less power so your laptop will run longer. It will have less capacity per $$$ than an HDD. SSD are physically smaller than desktop HDDs (2.5 inch vs 3.5 inch). An SSD MIGHT wear out faster than an HDD, but won't be damaged by vibration or physical impact as easily as an HDD.

If you have a limited budget but want a lot of storage an SSD isn't better. If you want faster boot times an SSD is better. All depends on the definition of better.
