Can i run dayz

I'm getting ready to do my first build but before i do i want to make sure i can play day z because iv wanted to play that game for awhile here are my specs :


CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory

You might want to look up benchmarks comparing intel i5's to the 6300 and 8320, especially for DayZ. I know the intel chips cost more, but there are certain games that just do not run well on the AMD FX CPU's, and DayZ might be one of them.

yes you can, however, you can probably get an 8320 for not too much more. dayz is currently not even close to done yet, so its hard to tell how well you will be able to run it though. (what settings, frame rate, resolution, etc... you will be able to play it for sure though)

Oh i know its still in alpha im not to worried i just wanna play what there is but the 8320 is about $50 more and from what iv heard from a few people it's not worth it
