I would like to build a PC that will cost around the £400 mark. The reason i am asking is that i have no clue about what motherboards will have the overclocking features for the 3258.

My only request is that it contains the new Pentium 3258 with a Hyper 212 EVO so that i can overclock to about 4.3-4.6GHz.

This will only really be for gaming but i would like to overclock.
Please use the UK PcPartPicker

Thanks.

Medium-high on 2000-10 titles and Low-medium on latest with respectable 40-50 FPS on FHD.

There you go. You can use some cheaper non-K motherboards to OC the G3258 but I'd be worried about the power delivery on a board that wasn't designed for that use. The Asus H81M plus is probably one of the cheapest that have this feature but I wouldn't really advise it.

This build looks good but the 250GB hard drive will not be enough space! Would swapping out the 550w psu for the 450w variant still be good?

Yeah that's an option but it might be a bit tight. How about an EVGA 500B, its cheaper than the XFX but still fine for a budget build. The savings should give you the extra cash for a bigger hdd
