I recently bought a new pc that is better than the old one and when i play games (for example: Payday 2, Battlefield 3) its randomly crash to desktop.
I've got the latest drivers, and everything is compatible i think.
Here is my pc:
CPU: Intel i5 4690k 3.5Ghz
PSU: XFX ProSeries 550W
CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
MoBO: Gigabyte z97x Gaming 5
GPU: Asus GTX660 Direct CU II OC edition 2Gb
MEMORY: Kingmax 2*4GB 1600Mhz
SSD: OCZ Agility 4 128GB
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB

CPU usage: 60-90% and CPU temperatures :54-60 celsius (all the 4 core), GPU usage: 70-95%, Memory usage: around 4Gb. I used MSI Afterburner. I played Battlefield 3 on high to ultra settings with 40 player around 60FPS (Vsinc enabled).

At the moment i played Black ops 2 multiplayer maxed out, 110FPS, everything was fine, and in the main menu it started stuttering (in the main menu, not in the game LOL) and slowly i could quit the game. But the stuttering continued on the desktop and it freezed after a min, also i couldnt open windows task manager. I restarted my computer and everything is smooth again...lol
It happend only once.

Sounds like the classic drivers issue to me. Completely uninstall your drivers using this guide and reinstall the latest ones from Nvidia's website. Good luck and report anymore problems or if the same problem still occurs.

Reduce the settings on those games and see if you have any issues. I think your problem is coming from you over pushing your GPU. On Ultra settings with vsinc that can push a GPU like yours over its limits and therefore it crashes.

Try clicking on them then. That's happened to me before and usually when I click on it, it says that the program no longer exists and then removes it from the list.

Did you restart with windows or did you hit the restart button on your case? It's best to restart within windows and is most recommended.

I guess you could reboot and do a fresh reinstall with the newest drivers. Most of the time when you have other programs that utilize similar assets as the Nvidia and AMD installers it could affect your installation which is why they tell you not to have any other programs running. (Trust me it's true and it happens to the best of us; especially on a fresh Windows install and you're rushing to install all your favorite programs and getting them set up while installing your drivers at the same time.)
