well under 300$ and CAN run is very subjective, you could make games run..but the performance wouldn't be playable obv.save up to atleast 400$ at first.

have a look into this Boson $300 Gaming PC Build - July 2014 the performance is not amazing but it its only $300.

Please don't buy any AM1 CPUs for gaming unless you really have to. Many games will not hit 30 fps period.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gcc7sY intel but at that price you might as well try to score a xbox one or a 360 for under 150$ decent pc start at around 500-600
