My computer has been overheating alot recently. I noticed 2 fans in my computer are not working. the one on the bottom right and the one on the top left. I added some pictures under the post and can add more if needed.

How can I tell if the 2 fans are plugged in? where would I plug them in (if there not)? and if they are plugged in would I have to change a setting on my computer to make them work?
Thanks.

I looked at the pic and I didnt find it so I will give you 2 options.
1) Follow the cable from the fan to the board
2) Look on the board and you should see how the ports have names next to them. So if you find the port that you think is the fan port it will say fan next to it.

On the motherboard you will find a little port where all the fans cables go to. You will be able to simply tell if there plugged in or not. Also if there plugged in and it is not working they are probably broken and you will have to buy new fans. I am pretty sure there is no settings for the fans unless the fans are monitored by software.

1. You can follow the end of the fan cables to see where they are plugged in. 2. There are fan connectors on your motherboard which you could uses. 3. we'll need to know exactly what fan and the specs of your computer to provide a definite answer. or you could use a fan controller. Not sure, but doesn't your case have its own fan controller?
