Metro Redux has low system requirements than Metro Last Light?

GeForce GTX 580
Radeon HD 7870 XT
6 GB

Metro Redux
Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz
Athlon II X2 270
GeForce GTX 480
Radeon HD 7850
6 GB

I currenty bought both Metro 2033 and Lastlight

Question is was Metro Last Light unoptimized?
Is metro Redux optimized or less graphically and cpu intensive?

And My rig
Core i5 2400 upto 3.4Ghz
4gb ddr3 ram
gtx 750 ti OCed ( Equal to Stock HD 7850 and GTX 480)

Would max it?

I believe redux will be more optimized, BUT it's also going to have better graphics as well.

Metro redux run almost stable 60 FPS on my OC GTX 750Ti with High Setting + Tesselation On + advanced PhysX On.
Drop to 40Fps with Very High Setting.
Just Compare it with yours to imagine optimization engine.

Metro 2033 REDUX runs also same but SMAA 0.5x is yours too?

Mine stays above 45fps 1080p very high settings tesseleation motion blur physx on

But i have 4gb ram which limits performance but i have a core i5 aswell
