I want to overclock my fx-6300 cpu, but once I get to 4.3ghz my computer will freeze. I have a hyper 212 evo and just re did my thermal paste as I thought that was why it kept freezing. Any tutorials or suggestions? I just want my cpu to get to 4.3..

It might just be the limit for you I'm afraid.

What motherboard do u got? You should be able to get more than 4.3. Though, sometimes there is this special weird "wall", where u need to apply some ridicilously high Vcore, up to 1.45-1.55
Tho, this is if u got 990 chipset...

Yea, 970 chipset is good aswell. What is your CPU Voltage? If you notice that you need very high Vcore for your OC, try balance your CPU/NB voltage with Vcore then. Then you wont need the same amount of cpu voltage. I love CPU/NB voltage! :)  Also, overclocking NB Frequency could improve performance aswell. I got a 100+ score in 3DMark11 when I took NB Freq from 2200 to 2400MHz.
