I plan on upgrading my graphics card to either the EVGA 760 or 770 and there is around a £45 difference between them, is it worth the extra £45 or should i just go with the 760 and save a couple of quid? Thanks.

Solution
if u have no problem with the budget then go for gtx 770 its much faster than the gtx 760 u can play every game at ultra with good fps even in 1440p resolution so its more future proof than gtx 760.....

The GTX 770 is fast enough to be worth the price difference. The better question is whether or not you actually need a video card that fast. What's your monitor resolution? What games do you plan to play, and what are your expectations for performance and visual quality?

my monitor resolution is 1920 x 1080, i play battlefield quite a bit and currently i can only play on medium with 40 to 50 frames. that is what made me want to upgrade.

thanks, i'll probably take your advice and spend a little more if it means the card will be useful for longer

a GTX 760 is good if you want to play at med to high settings at a solid 60fps, the gtx 770 is good for 60fps ULTRA settings at 1080P.

Also which models are you talking about? Because both gtx 760 and 770 have 2 and 4GB models.

the 4GB model I'd recommend since most games of today and tomorrow are going to be super vram hungry and 2GB isn't cutting it for ultra anymore.

Then yeah, I'd definitely say the GTX 770 is worth it for you. Another consideration is that the Radeon R9 280X is generally cheaper and will slightly outperform the GTX 770 in BF4. Its only a little slower in most other titles. Either one is capable of 1080p with near-max details at 60 FPS in BF4.
