that'd actually Stream the Laptop's screen to the TV :(
I've never done so, you're better off waiting for someone with knowledge than me speculating

Oh but wait, you didn't say that at all in your post. You just told him to connect the TV to the laptop which all that did was either mirror the image on the TV or makes the TV the new display. You might wanna read what your 1st post was.

But he's confusing,I don't know what he wants.Connect the TV and laptop? Record gameplay on xbox? He should be more precise. ;)

I just don't want you to give out info if you are unsure on what they're speaking about. Granted it wasn't harmful but it wasn't helpful.
