i already ve mcafee anti virus subscription which expires today.. i ve downloaded avira.. wen i try to install avira, it gives incompatibility error saying mcafe maybe blocking it, pls uninstall mcafee then it might work.. but at d same time it says, ur computer remains unprotected while installing avira.. wa t do i do??... wont it b unsafe if i ve to use internet durin installation?... cant i uninstall mcafee after installing avira??

Very simple:
1. Disconnect LAN cable of shut down wireless....unplug router whatever to take you off network
2. Uninstall McAfee
3. Rn Ccleaner to remove all registry entries with McAfee
4. Reboot
5. Check for any leftover registry entries, remove if there.
6. Install new AV and Malware solutions
7. Reconnect LAN cable or whatever you did to get network of line
