Hello everyone!

You may have seen me on all the forums helping out others with their needs and I suppose you guys should return the favor ;)  So the title is self explanitory. I want to know which one you guys prefer. Both these motherboards are a love or hate thing, it seems like and want to know which one would be better -- in quality. This is gonna be part of a minimal gaming/hardcore web-surfing/programing build. This is a AMD build only.

The specs:

G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C9D-16GAR

XFX HD545XCLH2 Radeon HD 5450 2GB 64-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 HDCP Ready Plug-in CardLow-profile Video Card

Thermaltake Urban S31 VP700M1W2N Black SECC ATX Windowed Mid Tower Chassis

Rosewill CAPSTONE-750 750W Continuous @ 50°C

AMD FX-8320 Vishera 8-Core 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor FD8320FRHKBOX

Crucial MX100 CT256MX100SSD1 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 or Asus Crosshair V Formula - Z

I love the Asus board but I also do not want to flashy paperweight either -- or ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 . I usually like to ask before I make any decision. I know my specs may not be recommened in your eyes but I did some good research on these parts individually. This computer is for programming, Web Design, etc. Sure I may play GTA: San Andreas or Left 4 Dead but this build is for said purposes.

Down to the actually question, which motherboard do you guys prefer, in regards to quality/performance? I like the flashy looks on the Crosshair Formula Z but want quality and performance.

PLEASE! NO SUGGESTIONS OR INPUT ON SPECS! Only the motherboard can be taken into account on this project

Get rid of the fx 9370, and get a fx 8320/8350, get a stronger gpu even though you'll not be playing as much games, maybe a r7 260x or something.

First you don't need the fx9370 + 990 chipset MB PC with about $1000 price tag for programming, Web Design, etc. may play GTA: San Andreas or Left 4 Dead, even $600 build will done the job, but the $$ is your.

Like calnin said don't get the fx8370, by the way you need the aftermarket cooler for it too, get the i7 4770 or 4770K, and not the HD5450 GPU, and 8GB RAM will be fine too. If you want just pick the Asus Crosshair V Formula - Z, and they are almost same, but asus is more colorful.

I am fully aware of that. I prefer 16GB. Also, the GPU is fine for what I am using it for. I would also like to say that this is a AMD build, not Intel. I have many of those and decided to build a AMD build.

Can't speak for those boards specifically, but I have a Sabertooth and I can comfortably say that ASUS products are crazy reliable. Mine survived two PSUs burning out. (awful wiring in my old apartment. Finally learned and got a nice sturdy brick to plug everything into.)

Sorry about the misleading title. It is the Sabertooth vs Formula Z. I know that the GPU isnt a very good one and is "outdated" but I will only be doing very little gaming with this computer.
