GTX 750Ti and PSU

I'm sure this question has probably been asked time and time again, but I'm having trouble wrapping my head around it. And everything else I read/look into tends to confuse me more.

I have a 460W PSU with multiple 12V rails. The total amps for each one are as follows: 10A, 18.5A, and 18A. Now the GTX 750 Ti calls for a PSU with 400W and at least 20A on the 12V rail. Now, I know that the manufacturers list a fairly high wattage requirement as a sort of safety blanket, so I'm not worried about that.

But are those multiple 12V rails cumulative? The way I see it is: I don't have 20A in one rail, but it seems to be covered across all three. In short, can I run this card with my current PSU?

Solution
Your PSU's specs are fine for that card. Nvidia only suggests a 300W PSU (minimum), but sometimes the card manufacturers will up the ante if they have it OC'd. Either way you are fine. What is the make.model of the PSU? And the combined Watts for the +12V rails?

If you have a PSU with seperate rails - you need to consider them as seperate for this regard. Now if your card has two power plugs - taking power from 12V2 and 12V3 for each plug should provide you with what is needed. the trick is identifying which ones are which.

Brand and model numbers for each the GPU and PSU will be helpful.

For 750Ti 300w non generic PSU should do the job. Now about PSU Amperage. If you really want to know how much amperage your PSU have on 12v rail you need to know the actual wattage for your 12v rail. For example if you have 360w on 12vrail then your amperage is 30A (360/12=30). But some PSU did not put such details on the PSU label. But as long as your PSU is not some cheap generic unit it should be able to power 750Ti properly.

It is sort of a generic PSU. Looking at the label on the PSU, I assume it's 380W. At least, that's what it says next to all three 12V rails. And I say assume because most of the text on there is in Chinese. So that would mean my amperage is about 32A, correct? And I suppose that's enough to run the card.
