Hey, I am building a computer (never built a computer before) and I wondered which motherboard I should get. I am planning on buying a ssd in the future, so it would be great if the motherboard supported that (maybe a sata express port?). it will also be great if the motherboard is not going to get fried, but that it still is as cheap as possible.

So far I am going with:
Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Radeon R9 280 3GB
Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

I also wondered if I should get the r9 280x insted of the r9 280, or if I just should get a nvidia card.(probably a gtx 760 scince the price is the same)
I am not going to overclock, so are there any reason to get a cpu-cooler (other than stock)?
The main purpose of this computer is gaming and really don't want to spend more than 1000$.

Definitely get a CPU cooler. Cooler Master Seidon 120M is my suggestion for an AIO and a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO for air.

280 to 280x is a difference but you have to justify the extra cost(I would do it) or get a 760 4gb (best option IMO).
