Reallocated Sectors Count

I have received a warning that my hard drive is about to fail, and having used CrystalDiskInfo, it seems the problem lies with my Reallocated Sectors Count. I seem to remember that the value in the "Current" column started on 33 when I found it, but that has since gone down to 30 since a restart to run chkdsk. Is a decreasing number of reallocated sectors good or bad?

So basically, the number starts off high and decreases the more sectors get marked as bad? In that case, would it be an idea to get the drive replaced within the next week? I don't want to have to wait until the drive inevitably gives a BSoD and finally dies, and I don't know what kind of rate this is happening at.
